The trauma of redundancy and losing one’s job is a most difficult situation for employees and employers, but most particularly the former, the employee, who is being made redundant and has lost their job. Talent Fusion understands this trauma, and through their own experience of redundancy and this outplacement support, aim to ease this and help you look forward to new opportunities and new challenges through securing new form of employment / income generation. There is a focus on the past, present and future, identifying an employee’s education, qualifications, experience and innate talents, skills, competencies and interest and matching them to an organization’s requirements.

During and after a redundancy / job loss period

During and after a redundancy / job loss period, you need to be able to:

  • Identify what type of work you would like to do
  • Identify what talents, skills, competencies that you want to use in a job / career
  • Identify what jobs/careers suit your talents, skills and competencies
  • Assess your existing education, qualifications and training
  • Identify your employment experience / employment history
  • Analyse what transferable skills and work experiences that you would like to take into a new job / career
  • Identify your ideal, realistic job / career field
  • Identify up to three Job Titles within the above job / career field
  • Evaluate do you need to upskill / re-train, re-educate yourself
  • Prepare and tailor Cover Letter(s) (CL’s), Curriculum Vitae(s) (CV’s) and Competency-Based Application Forms as per the requirements of the job advertisement / description / specification
  • Plan and organise a job hunt campaign around your work and personal life
  • Prepare for expected Competency-based Interviews, that will impress employers and prepare accordingly
  • Get a job offer(s) as soon as possible
